Indiba

The most innovative radiofrequency technology to stimulate collagen production in your skin and accelerate the recovery of your injuries.

Indiba

Evidence

INDIBA is an electromagnetic current that is administered to the body via electrodes at a radiofrequency of 448 kHz. This current gradually increases the temperature of the treated tissue. The increase in temperature triggers the body's natural regeneration, repair, and defense responses. With a current frequency of 448 kHz, other effects can also be obtained without heating the body's tissues, as demonstrated by molecular research: biostimulation.

INDIBA invests heavily in researching its technology to ensure the best results. During this research, a team from the renowned Ramón y Cajal Spanish University Hospital in Madrid (Dr. Úbeda and his team) has been studying what happens in the body's cells when INDIBA is applied. They have discovered that INDIBA's 448 kHz frequency is effective in stimulating the proliferation of stem cells and differentiating them. Normal healthy cells are not damaged. It was also tested on certain types of cancer cells in vitro, where it was found to reduce the number of these cells that established themselves, but not the number of normal cells, making it safe to use in humans and, therefore, also in animals.

Depending on the temperature reached, different effects are obtained:

  • At non-heating intensities, due to the effect of the single 448 kHz current, biostimulation occurs. This can help in the early stages of an injury by accelerating the body's action. It can also help relieve pain and accelerate the inflammatory pathway.
  • With a slight increase in temperature, the main action is vascularization, increasing deep blood flow that brings more oxygen and nutrients for repair. Muscle spasms are reduced and pain is decreased. Edema can be drastically reduced.
  • At high temperatures, a hyperactivation effect occurs, increasing both the volume and intensity of deep blood flow (Kumaran & Watson 2017). In aesthetics, high tissue temperature can reduce wrinkles and fine lines, as well as improve the appearance of cellulite.

What's a session of Indiba like?

Indiba treatments are customized according to the client's specific goals. Treatments usually last one hour and focus on one area of the body (face, hips, buttocks, etc.). Your therapist will explain why INDIBA treatment may be beneficial.

During the treatment, the therapist will use conductive pads on the skin to conduct the current. It is completely painless. They use a coated electrode called capacitive, which generates more superficial heat, or resistive, which is a metal electrode that develops deeper heat and targets deeper tissues in the body. It is a pleasant treatment for both people and animals.
